Let’s have some immune boost for the wet and cold days!

There has been a trend in new berrys and herbs etc aiming to improve our immune systems. You might already know some of them: Acai berrys, goji berrys, etc.

As there are so many different products it is difficult to choose. I already have tried goji berries which you can eat as a snack when they are dried but you can also eat them with yoghurt. I did not recognize such an effect but I think the reason was that I did not eat them frequent enough.

But let us take a look at Acai again. Here you have different options, you can choose between Acai juice, Acai berries, Acai extract, Acai pills and Acai powder. The main reason why people consume Acai in the USA and in Europe is because it is told to be like a diet. But this effect of becoming slimmer is not proved!

But nevertheless the Acai berry has positive effects which are indeed proved: It improves health and in addition it is like an anti-aging product, because it prevents cell damage.

If you want to try Acai products you should look for “Bio” products because they do not contain unnecessary chemicals. I think about trying the Acai powder to help to stabilize my immune system for the cold days. Because last winter I could almost count the days until I faced the next cold!
